There will be pre-registration at 4pm on June 6th, because as you know, this event can get a little crazy! I was really hoping to make it in person, but my travel to New Orleans is a bit too close to fit both in.
This is a cool way to get work for $100 a pop from some great artists! Visit the Cotton Candy Machine website for a viewing of all the works closer to the date, or if you are a nut, go camp out and wait in line — as some have been known to do.
My painting “Daughters of Maternal Impression” is on the cover of literary magazine Whiskey Island.
Currently up @ MF Gallery 213 Bond St. in Brooklyn, NY. I’m part of the “Girls of the Underground” show with Angie Mason, Tara McPherson, Kristen Ferrell, and many more as part of a Internaional Women’s Day group exhibition. I have two paintings on view, including “Lady Catherine” pictured here…
Saturday, March 14th 7-10pm @ Gauntlet Gallery in SF I’ll have a piece in the 3rd Annual 12×12 Exhibit. On view until April 4th. I like that everything is the size of an LP.
I just finishing jurying the 2015 Six in Studio participants for CWAL. On Friday, March 20th from 6-10pm they will start creating their works and we will be filming (I also might be DJing) as they start the process at 78th Street Studios. Visit ClevelandWestArtLeague.com for more info.
“Lana” 5×7″ oil on panel.
She was on view at Alexi Era Gallery in St. Louis, MO run by the fabulous Aunia Kahn. The 1920’s were always may favorite decade for fashion and the arts, so I was so happy to be able to do a little something for this show. I’ll admit, I made her slightly ’70s glam on top of it. Hey, why not? She’s available from my shop.
