Lips, Eyes, and Hair: New Art Book

Somehow between radiation and chemotherapy, I made a book!

There are several reasons I was in a hurry to make it; I didn’t know how long I had, for posterity, no gallery or fair ever did a catalog and so on. This is a collection of portraits from 1999 to last year — mostly women with a few men thrown in. Over 75 paintings, and wow, I could have included so many more.

Another reason for making this was the fact I can’t paint anymore, let alone have no exhibitions or commissions and probably can’t handle a residency. So, instead of my GoFundMe or me a getting a pitiful % from my print sales, I made this so people get something cool in return for supporting me. Two of my doctors recently told me they didn’t think I’d live past September and I’m still here.

It’s a little pricey for a 8×8″ book, but it is printed in the USA, and gives me a cut that makes it worth my while (unlike Fine Art America who have been selling masks with my artwork on them without permission or paying me).

I hope you like it, and don’t forget there are other publications of mine, too.
