As some of you know, last weekend was the symposium at University of Michigan honoring my father and the company he created with my mom. I’m still waiting for the video from the webcast to be posted so I link that along with some of my own content. Sadly I didn’t get as much as I would have liked in terms of photos and video — too busy catching up with people I hadn’t seen in 12 to 20 years or more!
I’ve also been a little overwhelmed with more follow-up on the oncology end of things, doing 3 book covers, and doing work for a few shows. But here are some things…
- I’m very excited a shot of my studio is up on HyperAllergic.com
- Of course I did a very sarcastic piece for the group show “Obsolete” coming up October 11th…
- My husband’s novel is off at the printer and pre-orders will be up soon. Here our cat Ike approves…
- My mini show at Deering Vintage is staying up through the month due to increased interest (they are fashionably fabulous, after all). And speaking of fashion, my November and January Fashion Illustration classes in Lakewood, are open for registration.
- The Lil BUB art show at Spoke Art was a great success and all of the work even made it to Buzzfeed.
- Here’s the video of when the Discovery Channel stopped by….
